Scott Mathis Raw Green Papaya Powder, Pineapple & Turmeric 150gm Pack

This is a daily natural health drink, it is entirely pesticide-free, organically grown in Sri Lanka by a local farmers coop. (Sadly, we are unable to source organic papayas from Australia and in 2017 alone we were impacted by 4 price increases in the raw product in 12 months – Australian Farmers prefer to allow the fruit to ripen and sell at a higher price).

DOSAGE: 1 flat teaspoon of powder in 30-40 ml of water after your main meal until symptoms improve. This can also be added to fresh fruit/vegetable juices or sprinkled over food like a salt.

Why Are They Superfoods?

The reason that green papaya is revered for their healing properties is because of papain. This is known as a protein eater because of the way it breaks down these types of foods in the stomach.

Papain can be consumed in a number of forms including pawpaw leaf extract, fresh or dried pawpaw, or green papaya powder.

When undigested proteins make their way into the lower abdomen, they create an acidic environment which is ideal for the growth of microorganisms. Therefore, the presence of fungal and bacterial growth in the lower abdomen, if left unchecked, can lead to a range of digestive problems including acid reflux, heartburn and bloating.

Green Papaya

Long recognized for its ability to break down proteins in the gut, green papaya contains papain which is proteolytic in nature, meaning ALL proteins are broken down properly making digestion and absorption easier.

Our powder is made entirely from the mature green fruit, which is dried and powdered.

Because it acts as a ‘protein breaker’ it relieves stress on the gut muscles. Over time the gut muscles become stronger.

Pineapple 

Pineapple powder can be used topically and can help reduce swelling and pain. Finally, individuals with arthritis and sinus pain can benefit from pineapple powder. Bromelainis another proteolytic enzyme found in pineapple.It helps reduce both the overall inflammation from the gut area , as well as the pain from those disorders.

Turmeric 

Turmeric the most favored healing spice on the planet right now. Not only does it contain Curcumin which is highly anti-inflammatory, but it also helps calm the upper digestive system.

If You are on medication ,Because turmeric and of its blood-thinning effects alone, pregnant women should avoid taking turmeric or consult your doctor .But because of only a small amounts of turmeric is in our formula it shouldn't be a problem. we highly recommend to ask your doctor as a safety precaution.

“Being very sceptical about most things in life, when I saw the Green Papaya Powder at the scottmathasraw  stall at Noosa Farmers Market stating below it that it could help with acid stomach & reflux issues, I wondered if this could be true.

I’ve used Omeprazole or Pantoprazole daily for at least the last 10 years and hated the fact this just relieved the issue rather than fixed it. I decided to go “cold turkey” and really test the Green Papaya Powder.
